Limitless Shielding CE-NCF is an electrically conductive fluorosilicone based material loaded with nickel coated graphite particles. It is formulated specifically for the production of sheet, flat gaskets and custom mouldings as well as extruded profiles. It offers a combined high level of EMI shielding and environmental sealing over a wide temperature range.
The Fluorosilicone rubber provides optimum performance to the action of oxidizing agents, both under static and dynamic conditions and it offers excellent environmental sealing whilst providing optimum protection against galvanic corrosion in salt spray environments. It also has excellent resistance to aging from UV and weather conditions. The Fluorosilicone elastomer base also provides excellent resistance to fuels and oils.
CE-NCF also exhibits good galvanic (electro-chemical) stability when used in combination with aluminium alloys, particularly in damp or humid environments.
