3M™ Thermally Conductive Acrylic Interface Pad 5500H is a conformable thermal interface material designed to efficiently transfer heat from heat-generating components to cooling devices, enhancing device reliability and longevity. Composed of a slightly tacky acrylic elastomer filled with thermally conductive ceramic particles, this pad provides excellent thermal conductivity and electrical insulation properties. Its softness and conformability allow it to fill gaps and accommodate non-flat surfaces, ensuring effective heat dissipation. Notably, it does not contain intentionally added silicone, eliminating concerns related to siloxane VOCs or oil bleeding. The pad is UL94 V-0 listed, indicating its flame-retardant properties. Typical applications include battery cooling, power electronics, and human-machine interface (HMI) displays.

3M™ Thermal Conductive Acrylic Interface Pad 5500H has a high temperature (130°C durability). Samples that are aged for 2,000 hours at 130°C ambient temperature show no significant change in thermal conductivity or hardness.
